Carrier Infinity Greenspeed is the premium variable-speed cold-climate heat pump in Carrier's lineup. The 25VNA8 models hit SEER2 24, HSPF2 11, and operate down to -29C ambient (the widest cold-climate envelope of any major-brand heat pump). Communicates with the Infinity System Control thermostat for full variable-capacity modulation. Ontario installed cost: $11,000 to $16,000. Save on Energy Cold Climate eligible.
