Save on Energy: the Independent Electricity System Operator's (IESO) Ontario residential energy efficiency rebate program. Currently administers Home Renovation Savings.

Save on Energy is the IESO's residential rebate channel for Ontario. The Home Renovation Savings program reopened in 2025 with the most generous incentive tier in the program's history, covering insulation, air sealing, windows, heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and smart thermostats. Total rebate value can exceed $7,500 per household. Participation requires a NRCan Registered Energy Advisor for the pre/post EnerGuide assessment and blower door test. Save on Energy is funded through Ontario electricity rates, which is why it's IESO-administered rather than provincial-government-administered.
