CSA B149.1: the Canadian Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code. Governs every gas appliance installation in Ontario.

CSA B149.1 (Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code) is the technical standard referenced by the TSSA Fuels Safety Program. It sets gas piping size, venting, clearances, combustion air, and inspection requirements for every residential gas appliance installation. Ontario incorporates B149.1 by reference. Updates are published every 4 years; the current edition is B149.1-25.
