A2L refrigerant adopted by Daikin, Mitsubishi, and others as the R-410A successor in their heat pump lines. ~67% lower GWP than R-410A.
R-32 is the second principal R-410A successor refrigerant, adopted broadly by Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, and other Japanese OEMs for their post-2025 heat pump and AC platforms. GWP of approximately 675, about 67% lower than R-410A. A2L classification (mildly flammable) requires the same updated installation practices as R-454B.
